INNOVATION from Trixon — tapered drums. Although African and Latin-American drums have long been tapered, dance band and military drums have kept to the traditional cylindrical pattern. The new Trixon Telstar Kit has a bass drum tapering from 20 inches to 16 inches and a snare drum tapering from 14 inches to 13 inches. Messrs. Arbiter are marketing them here.
